High Purity Cadmium Cd 5N 6N 7N is a silver white and slightly bluish luster metal with atomic weight 112.41, melting point 320.9°C and density 8.65g/cm³, which is insoluble in water, strong alkali and easily soluble in ammonium nitrate solution, oxidizes slowly in the humid and slowly dissolved in hot hydrochloric acid and cold concentrated sulfuric acid.

	Chemical property  : Cadmium will oxidated slowly in the humid air that will lose the  metallic luster,cadmium and halogen react violently in the high temperature.It can be directly combined with sulfur, but not with hydrogen and nitrogen compounds when heating.
